When it comes to planning your wardrobe there are some simple tips to help make sure your get exactly what you need to give everything a home.
If you already have a wardrobe it’s a good idea to think about how well this meets your storage needs and then make adjustments to improve on it. Measure the total length of hanging rail space you have and make sure your new wardrobe incorporates at least this length or more if required. Remember you will be able to pack more hanging space into your wardrobe if you choose double hanging rather than single hanging in an interior compartment.
If hanging space is what you’re lacking, put as much hanging space inside your wardrobe as possible and then make use of matching drawer chests that can be placed around your room to give you some additional storage space outside your wardrobe.
A new wardrobe is a great time to de-clutter and make sure you’re not wasting valuable storage space with items you just don’t use anymore.
Remember your interior layout will be split into sections depending on how many doors you have. A rough rule of thumb is that there will be a section behind each door, this will help when you are thinking about how you want to use the internal space.
