Lavender is one of the most well known plants to promote sleep. Why not opt for the real thing and have a lavender plant in your bedroom to see if its sleep inducing powers work for you.

 Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is used to heal lots of minor ailments, sunburn, cuts, dry skin and insect bites are just a few. It is lesser known for emitting oxygen into the air and if kept on a bedroom window sill can aid sleep. It’s also one of the easiest plants to maintain being a robust plant that doesn’t require much watering.

Spider plant

The good old spider plant is a great plant to share your bedroom with. It works to cleanse the air of some of the nasties found in paint, grout and cleaning products. It also absorbs odours and fumes creating a more restful sleeping environment.

Peace lily
