At Tidy Bedrooms we understand the importance of making the most of the space you have to maximise storage. With our angled doors, we can make use of the awkward spaces created by angled ceilings so all possible storage opportunities are used.
Angled doors run on wheels in the bottom track and also require a stabilising arm towards the top of the door to guide them. The stabilising arm is attached to a shelf fitted behind the angled door, this will be incorporated in your interior storage design.
Most angled doors cannot have soft close as an extra feature as a flat top on the door is required to attached the soft close mechanism to.
There is a definite skill to measuring and fitting perfect angled doors, all our surveyors use an angle finder to get an exact recording of the angle. It is important that this measurement is exact, if the angle is a degree or two out this will affect the fitting of the doors. We would always recommend that our survey and fitting service is used for wardrobes that include any angled doors.
The alternative to an angled door is to build the framework out so that standard rectangular doors can be fitted. This works well in some situations but it does mean there is no direct access to the internal compartment behind the framework.
